Ms Johannah Mfimang Medupe is the Principal and owner of Winnie Winkky Kids Academy and she will be managing daily operations of the facility with the assistance of the staff members

Johannah Mfimang Medupe started the child-care in 1995 at Kideo Crèche at Kgabalatsane and the business lasted only two years due to financial constraints and lack experience. Bythen HIV/Aids was a huge challenge in our society and she offered most of the people free of charge service with no funding or no assistance of some sort.

Then in 1999 she was employed at African Bank as Sales consultant to a Sales Manager. Then in 2004 she was recruited to join Izwe Loans as a Branch Manager then later promoted to Senior Manager due to her hard work and passion. Unfortunately in 2016 the company restructure and close all the branches. Then she started the company called Samaragana Debt Mediation with the intention of raising funds to go back to her calling of developing young children .Then 2019 she went and upgrade her N1 and N2 early child care to NQF level 4 and start Winnie Winkky Kids Academy. She is recently doing her National Diploma Early Childhood Development.

Staff Composition

At Winnie Winkky Kids Academy there is a drive for education and therefore we clear standard in the qualifications of our Educators. Our Educators must be in possession of either:
Educare N6, L5 Diploma, Gr R Diploma or BEd Degree
We do allow for teachers who are studying to come build their experience at the School. All are teachers are required to be SACE registered and ensure that they complete their annual continuous development and training as required by the council.


As a School, we ensure that our Educators, have sufficient workplace training and that they grow as Educators consistently ensuring they have updated knowledge and ample opportunity to gain experience in practical ways.
